I thought this would be a good time to introduce myself to help put a face to the name and learn a little more about the lady behind the lens. My name is Shauna. I'm a 35 year old gal living my best life here in Ohio. I specifically call Southern OH home where I reside with my husband, daughter and our fur doggie named Bear.

In my day to day life, I actually work as a full time pelvic floor occupational therapist in West Virginia. I really enjoy my career and am passionate about helping others. I stay pretty busy throughout my work week. Even as stressful as it can get at times trying to juggle being a full time working momma, I'm thankful for the opportunities I've been given working in this field. 

I was raised in Southern Ohio practically most of my life and still still reside here. I've been married to my husband for close to 3 years. We had our first child (a baby girl) just 17 short months ago. Her name is Josie but is commonly referred to as our "Jojo girl". It's crazy to believe she has been earth side already over a year! It feels like we were just going into the hospital for her delivery. Time really does fly.

I'm currently in "the thick of it" as they say in motherhood. My little one constantly keeps me on my toes most days. But as tiring and chaotic as some days may feel, our sweet baby girl fills our home and hearts with SO much joy and love. Sometimes, I still can't believe God gave her to us and that she is ours. It's the greatest feeling in the world. She has blessed our world in ways we never even knew were possible. She is the light of our lives and we feel beyond grateful and so incredibly thankful that the Lord chose us to be her parents here on earth ❤

With that being said, my little girl is what has given me the passion to pursue this photography side business. We've had the pleasure of working with some wonderful photographers over the past 2 years between various maternity, newborn and milestone photo sessions. I realize and understand how important those photos are to their clients as they can capture and freeze those special times in their life.

I've always enjoyed photography and taking pictures as a hobby over the years but I guess you could say I never had the best equipment to pursue it professionally. Not wanting to miss all of those special moments with my daughter that are here and are surely to come, I finally made the decision to invest in some higher quality photography equipment. I couldn't be happier with my decision because it has allowed me to capture so many special moments of my baby girl and our family.
